Marcy brings years of experience as a performer with a diverse arts background to her vocal teaching studio. She avidly pursues her own training and teaching techniques, which continue to evolve.
Favorably reviewed in the New York Times as an “outstanding, sweet voiced soprano,” Marcy has performed leading roles in works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Donizetti. She has performed with Opera Delaware, Cincinnati Playhouse, the Arena Stage in Washington D.C., and the 92nd St. Y in New York City. Marcy has worked in collaboration with playwrights and composers at New Dramatists and the New Music Theater Ensemble in Minnesota. She has performed as an actor, dancer, and singer in venues both large and intimate.
